Personal Goals and Vending
This is my site Written by The Vending Guy on June 14, 2009 – 3:45 pm

Many people look for a business that they believe will not be difficult to start and then form their life around it. How many of us have done that with our jobs too? Get a job and force your life to revolve around it. I suggest taking just the opposite approach – it is a much more natural approach which will result in a more
satisfied life.

Evaluate your lifestyle and personal goals for the future. Then you should determine if vending (or any business) will compliment your life and help you achieve your goals. If you try to make vending fit you will only make yourself more miserable. Remember that part of financial success and breaking out of the “rat race” is to enjoy what you do. If you enjoy your business and it fits in with your personal goals you will succeed even more rapidly.

I realize that this saying has been greatly over-used but I believe because it is true. “LOVE your job and NEVER WORK another day of your life.”

If you have spent so long at a job you hate that you are not sure how to break the cycle I suggest you checkout 48 Days to the Work you Love by Dan Miller.
